Straight answers

The questions worth asking before you pay.

Including the two most people are too polite to ask, and the one where the honest answer costs us a sale.

Will this get me licensed?

Not by itself, and we won't pretend otherwise. Most states require pre-licensing coursework from a state-approved provider. We are not one, and we're not trying to become one. What we do is prepare you for that coursework and the exam, and tell you exactly where your state requires you to get the certified training. Completing anything here does not satisfy a legal requirement.

How much can I make selling insurance?

We don't answer that, and you should be careful with anyone who does. Income depends on your market, your effort, your carrier appointments, and a dozen things no course controls. We teach competence. What you build with it is yours.

Which carrier or agency should I go with?

We won't tell you, on purpose. No carrier, IMO, or FMO pays us for placement, and none of our content is shaped to favor one. What we teach is how to evaluate the tradeoffs yourself, which is the part a recruiter has no incentive to give you.

Is my state's licensing roadmap covered?

We are building the largest and most popular states first and working down the list. The roadmap says plainly which states are covered and which aren't yet, rather than showing you a half-finished page.

Do I need this if I'm already licensed?

Possibly. A license exam tests whether you know the rules, not whether you can run a needs analysis, handle an objection honestly, or keep a pipeline moving. Pillars 3 through 7 are written for exactly that gap.

Does Life School cover annuities?

No, and that is deliberate rather than an oversight. Annuities carry their own regulatory layer, including a separate state-mandated training course before you may sell them. They get their own school. Life School does not prepare you for the annuity portion of the licensing exam, and we would rather you read that here than discover it on test day.

Important: supplemental education

InsureRamp is a supplemental education platform. It is not a state-approved insurance pre-licensing education provider, and it does not satisfy state-mandated pre-licensing coursework, continuing education, or annuity suitability training requirements. Completing any course here does not license you to sell insurance products. Licensing requirements are set by your state's department of insurance, and you are responsible for meeting them through an approved provider.
